The Dvůr Králové ZOO
The Dvůr Králové Zoo is one of our country's most famous and most beautiful zoos. It is situated in the picturesque foothills of the Giant Mountains and its diverse terrain adds to its wild natural atmosphere. Almost two and a half thousand animals call this zoo home. These animals come from distant countries and many continents around the world. You will find the largest collection of African animals in Europe here.
Every season the zoo changes and its programme changes. The atmosphere is festive and peaceful during Christmas and scary at Halloween. During the summer holidays you can enjoy evening tours of the zoo. As night falls some animals, and their natural instincts awaken, all under lights.
